Frequently asked questions

What paper sizes do you print?

We print plans and drawings in A4, A3, A2, A1 and A0 sizes. We also offer specialist A3 waterproof site drawings printed on DigiTuff polyester media. If you need a different size or have a bespoke requirement, please get in touch and we'll be happy to help.

Can you print A0 plans?

Absolutely. We print plans in A0, A1, A2, A3 and A4 sizes, whether you need a single drawing or a larger batch.

What paper do you print plans on?

Our standard plans are printed on premium 90gsm Canon plan paper, producing crisp lines and excellent print quality for architectural, engineering and technical drawings.

Can you print CAD drawings?

Yes. We can print CAD drawings provided they're supplied as PDF, JPG or PNG files. For the most accurate scaling and print quality, we recommend uploading your drawings as a PDF.

Do you print architectural plans in colour?

Yes. We print colour architectural plans and technical drawings. Our service is designed for line drawings and CAD plans, so files containing large blocks of solid colour, photographs or poster-style artwork are not suitable and may be rejected.

Do you print sewing patterns?

Yes. We print PDF sewing patterns in A0, A1, A2 and A3 sizes at full scale, making them ready to use straight away.

What file formats do you accept?

For the best print quality, we recommend uploading your artwork as a PDF. PDF files preserve your layout, fonts and scaling, ensuring accurate printing. We can also print JPG and PNG files if a PDF isn't available.

Can you print large PDF files?

Yes. If your PDF is too large to upload through our website, simply email us a WeTransfer link and we'll take care of the rest.

Will my drawings be printed to scale?

Yes. We can print your drawings at 100% scale or scale them to fit your chosen paper size. When placing your order, simply select the correct print option to ensure your plans are produced exactly as required.

What resolution should my artwork be?

For the best results, we recommend supplying artwork at 300dpi at full size (1:1 scale). Lower resolution files can still be printed, but may appear pixelated or blurred. We print your files as supplied, so it's important to check the quality before uploading.

Can you print my colour drawings in black and white?

Yes. If your original artwork is in colour but you'd prefer a black and white print, simply choose the black and white printing option when placing your order. We'll convert your file to greyscale while maintaining as much detail and clarity as possible.

Do you offer a plan folding service?

Yes. We can fold A0, A1, A2 and A3 plans down to A4 for easy handling, filing and storage. Every plan is folded by hand with care. As this is a manual process, minor variations or light creasing may occur, but we always aim to provide a neat, professional finish.

Do you offer waterproof plan printing?

Yes. We offer A3 waterproof site drawing printing on durable DigiTuff polyester media. It's tear resistant, waterproof and designed for use in demanding site conditions.

Is there a minimum order?

No. Whether you need a single plan or multiple drawings, we're happy to help. There is no minimum order quantity, so you can order exactly what you need.

How quickly will my order be dispatched?

Orders placed before 1pm are dispatched the same working day. Orders received after 1pm will usually be dispatched on the next working day. Delivery times depend on the shipping service selected at checkout.
