Encapsulation is the process of covering a printed sheet with a rigid strong plastic which provides extra protection and durability. This means encapsulation will make your documents water resistant. It involves covering both sides of the printed sheet with plastic and securing it with a sealed plastic border.
Our meticulous folding service allows us to downsize your prints from A0, A1, A2, and A3 sizes to a convenient A4 size. While we take great care during the manual folding process, it’s important to note that slight size variations or creasing may occur due to the nature of folding. Rest assured, our skilled team strives to minimize any such variations and ensure the best possible result for your folded prints.

Your drawing will be printed at the size you specify. When ordering please ensure if you need order to scale the size order is correct. We will print your drawings at 100% scale OR scale to fit. Depending on how the file is supplied.
For optimal print quality, we recommend that your artwork be provided at a minimum resolution of 300 dpi, at its actual 1:1 size. While we can work with lower resolution artwork, it’s important to note that printing from such files may result in pixelation and blurring. If you choose to send low resolution artwork, please understand that any potential reduction in print quality will be your sole responsibility. Absolutely! We offer the option to convert your color artwork to black and white mono (greyscale). When placing your order, simply specify your preference for black and white (B/W) in the options. Our team will ensure a seamless conversion, preserving the essence and details of your original artwork while transforming it into a striking black and white rendition. To cover administrative costs, we have established a minimum order value of £8.50. For any orders below this amount, the total will be automatically rounded up to £8.50. This ensures that we can continue to provide our customers with the same level of quality service and attention, while effectively managing our administrative expenses.
For plans, sewing patterns, and posters, our goal is to provide a fast turnaround time. If you place your order before 12 noon, we aim to print and dispatch it on the same day. We make every effort to meet these specified timescales and will do our utmost to ensure prompt delivery of your order. However, please note that for particularly large orders or those with additional finishing options such as folding, the dispatch time may extend to 3 working days. Rest assured, we strive to maintain efficient service without compromising on the quality of your prints.
We use high speed modern printing machines, with speeds of around 15 A1 sheets a minute. These specialist CAD printing machines will make quick work of your printing jobs at high quality regardless whether your order is a single sheet or is over 1000 plans.
